The annual Morpeth Fair Day Fun Run was held on Sunday 14th June, and attracted a total of 119 finishers, who all received a goody bag at the end for their efforts over the approximate 1 mile course, which incorporated Bridge Street, Carlisle Park, the Riverside, returning to a finish line behind the clock tower via Oldgate Bridge.
The runners were led home by year 7 Boy William Fawcett, who is a member of Morpeth Harriers.
He was closely followed in by fellow clubmates Hector Ford Hutchinson and Mason Ellison.
In placing seventh, year seven girl Chloe Potts was the first female finisher.
Second and third female finishers were year 6 Girls Ellie Fea and Niamh Balmbra, who are both members of Morpeth Harriers.
They finished in ninth and tenth places, respectively.
Many thanks goes to members and helpers from Morpeth Harriers, who administered and marshalled the event, to ensure that everyone returned safe and sound.
Also, many thanks again to the Fair Day Committee, and other volunteers who helped to make the day successful.
